Why the World Needs More Joel Webbons

Why the World Needs More Joel Webbons

(And Fewer Anonymous Keyboard Warriors)
I used to respect “anons.”
In the tech world I came from, “anonymous” meant the little guy swinging at Big Tech, corrupt governments, and corporate overlords. It meant whistleblowers and hacktivists who faced prison or worse. In that world, anonymity was a shield for the brave.
That is not what most anon accounts are today.
When I see a grey egg avatar named “Crusader2025” or “PureBloodPatriot1488” dropping a spicy take, I don’t think “bold.”
I think “scared.”

Scared of cancellation. Scared of losing a job. Scared of the mob.
The same mob that came after me this year when I refused to play the pronoun game. They froze my funds, tried to bankrupt my business, and slandered me across the timeline. I didn’t hide behind a burner. I fought with my real face and real name, and I’m still standing because men with faces stood with me, bought cigars, and kept a Christian family afloat with their real wallets and real prayers.

To the brothers I know in real life who still run anon accounts: I will never dox you. I might roast you in the group chat, but I get it. You have my word; it will never come from me.This is exactly why men right now are drawn to Joel Webbon (and yes, to Nick Fuentes too). Love them or hate them, agree or disagree, they possess something most of us have lost: raw, unapologetic courage. They put their names, their faces, their families, and their churches on the line. They speak in the open. That is what resonates. That is what leadership actually looks like.

You don’t have to sign off on every sentence Joel preaches or every tactic he uses to see the obvious: a man willing to be hated under his real identity is worth ten who scream the same things from behind a mask.
George Washington would have zero followers today if he posted as “ValleyForgeAnon1776.” Men follow men they can see.

We keep saying we’re in a culture war, yet most of us fight it like Christians in first-century Rome hiding from Nero. Brothers, we are Americans. God-given free speech is written into the founding documents of this republic. It’s time to act like we believe it.

Yes, there is risk. I’ve paid it. Many of you have too. But VPNs and burner accounts are not strategy; they are slow-motion surrender.

What we need are millions of visible faces saying publicly what we whisper in private. Marriage is one man, one woman. Abortion is murder and mothers who choose it are not innocent victims. Pornography is a Jewish-dominated industry targeting Christian nations. Drag Queen Story Hour is straight from the pits of hell and we should pass laws to criminalize these perverted men twerking in front of toddlers. Say it all with your real name.

Make the shameful shameful again, in the open, in the public square, from normal men with normal lives.

I’ve spent years in the nicotine business. I know every Indian and Pakistani guy who owns the local smoke shops. I’ve eaten with Muslims in Little Pakistan and Little India in Chicago and Nashville. I’ve watched how they operate. They fight like cats and dogs in private, but when it’s time to take territory they lock arms. Dearborn didn’t turn into what it is because Muslims spent their days purity-spiraling each other online. They built mosques, businesses, and political machines, together.

Hindus, Muslims, and Jews routinely do coalition politics better than the Bride of Christ. That’s not hyperbole; that’s an indictment.

We are the salt of the earth, the people who are supposed to fear God rather than men, and we can’t even platform each other without a heresy trial on Twitter Spaces. You do not have to agree with every take from Founders, Joel Webbon, Stephen Wolfe, or Thomas Achord to link arms. You don’t have to feel like you’re betraying your favorite podcast host because you quote one and not the other. The world is watching to see if the gospel actually unites us more than secondary issues divide us.It’s wartime.

Our children are being taken by pagans while we argue about 1589 Geneva Bible footnotes.
The age of the anon is over.
Put your face on it.
Take the hits.
Bleed in public if you have to.

Courage is contagious, and so is cowardice.

If we want to save the West we need millions more Joel Webbons: pastors, businessmen, fathers, and husbands who will stand in the open, speak plainly, forgive quickly, and fight together.

Be a man.
Say it with your chest.
