1561 Belgic Broadleaf Box-Pressed

Belgic: Three Forms of Unity

Broadleaf-wrapped, medium to full in body, and built on a natural sweetness that carries the whole smoke. Leather and cocoa sit underneath from first light to last, deepening as it goes.

Named for the Belgic Confession of 1561, which is the confession Guido de Brès wrote and the first of the Three Forms of Unity. This is one of the finest smokes 1689 has ever released. A privilege to create, and a delight to smoke.
