Particular Penguin is a Particular, or Reformed Baptist penguin who is always dressed super dapper. He sports a black 3 piece suit and a top hat, which you'll never see him without. He holds to 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith and loves Christ, good reformed theology, deep conversation, and fellowship (usually with a cigar).

Particular Penguin is steeped in the Reformed Baptist tradition and strives to provide the online Body of Christ with encouraging truth, hilarious memes, and friendly discussion that all points the Lord and His glory, that we might live in light of the Gospel. As Paul Washer put it, "The Gospel does not call us to receive Christ as an addition to our life, but as our life." This is the mentality and the motivation behind Particular Penguin; that the Church may live for Christ and die to the world, and to pursue that with joy and laughter along the way!

Cool cookies and cream.

I enjoyed the Particular Penguin more than I expected. It had the smooth cream notes along with the sweet rich notes found in some of 1689's other maduros. The larger gauge made for a cool draw. In the world of unflavored cigars, this is a desert.

This cigar did not disappoint. It burned very well for a barberpole. I don't believe I had to touch it up whatsoever. I got earth and leather throughout and just a hint of sweetness. It was well balanced. One of the best barberpole cigars I've had. Recommend highly.

Unlike any cigar I have ever tried

I have smoked many cigars in my day, but the Particular Penguin Barberpole was unlike anything that I have ever tried! It was the perfect blend of harsh and smooth. After the first hit, I literally started getting on my phone so that I could message Particular Penguin. I WILL be getting more!
